I lost my shit with my 6 year old tonight. I said one thing and she was crying. She ran upstairs crying, and I was crying downstairs knowing I’ve just ruined my relationship with her. We reconvened and I apologized to her. She went to bed feeling all the love tonight.

As a mom of 6 (ages 12, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 9 months) I can confirm that motherhood IS chaos. I haven’t known any different, but it has never been unbearable. It’s a beautiful chaos that can be tiring, but also gives so much joy.

I have a 3 year old and a almost 5 month old ..the chaos we have when both are at home is insane. between potty training a resilient child and reminding her to let her brother sleep the only thing keeping us sane is caffeine and our workouts 😂
