Hi Im a nailtech and use lots of acetone try using Hands down pads instead of qtips and paper towels the hands down pads prevent cotton transfer and the plastic backing on them helps prevent contact dermatitis from constant acetone exposure..you can also buy bigger ones to use as a placemat to keep your area dust and debris free
