That is crazy, especially if you bought it from boutique. I work for an Italian fashion house. Most of the brands I worked for has a two year after care. What that mean is if there’s any quality issue within two years of purchase as long as it’s not from normal wear and tear the brand will repair it for free or sometime even replace a new one. But of course by manager discretion. But if you purchase from a non authorized dealer like department store or even eBay or the real real something like that. Sometime the brand will ask you for proof of purchase or depend if you have a relationship with a SA then they will reject your repair or just have you pay for it. First option always if you act like a a hole, or being entitled. Hope this helps

Girl better than mine, bought brand new mini but they gave me a display bag that came with so many dents and stains!!
