Your rating on the cheese steak is too high… perfect review on how dry it is… almost tasteless…. I’ve tried it twice… just as bad both times…. Delcos in Dunedin is a 10! Been there dozens of times… same every time…. I wanted Violet Stone to be good, but…..meh. Plus they don’t allow their pizza dough to rest overnight anymore….. they got too popular too fast and now the pizza is terrible…… 6.5 at best….

They have a sit down area!? I’m confused. I got a cheesesteak there one day and the place was like 100 square feet and it was hot, so no real room for patrons to sit and eat.. there was an ice cream counter as soon as I walked in. Maybe I went to the wrong place? The cheesteak I got was decent, but I honestly love a cheesesteak from Little Italy Off of 38th Ave and 49th street. That’s a great place for good pizza and steaks!.

If you prefer a softer bread for cheesesteaks then you won’t really care for violet stone’s. But you’re not talking about Ellie’s on racetrack right rd right bc that’s not even close to being as good! Coming from up north, Tampa’s food standards are realllly low. Delcos and violet stone have the best cheesesteaks in Tampa hands down.

Eh I’ve ordered it a couple of times on uber eats, they don’t add enough cheese, needs more seasoning. Their pizza is fantastic though

Tbh I feel like they are finding their way since they opened full time restaurant. Last Sunday I got a cheesesteak from there that would compete with any in Philly. 2 weeks before that it was like this video. Idk if it’s staff or what, but they are inconsistent. At their peak tho, no better in Florida
