@tyllersfitness: Quick back hack for beginners 👇 MAG (Max Acceleration Grips) grips, each one puts emphasis on a different part of your back. 1️⃣ Close underhand (supinated) pulldown Primary emphasis • Lats (mid → lower fibers bias) (because elbows stay tucked and you’re driving “down + back”) • Biceps (highest biceps involvement of the grips listed) Strong helpers • Teres major • Lower traps (scapular depression) • Brachialis / brachioradialis, forearms (grip) 2️⃣ Close grip parallel (neutral) pulldown Primary emphasis • Lats (mid → lower bias) (still very “elbows tucked”) • Biceps + brachialis (strong, but usually a bit less biceps strain than underhand) Strong helpers • Teres major • Lower traps, some rhomboids/mid traps depending on how much you retract 3️⃣ Medium neutral grip pulldown Primary emphasis • Lats (more “overall lat” feel) • Teres major (often more noticeable here) Stronger mid-back contribution than close grips • Rhomboids + mid traps (more scapular retraction) • Rear delts (elbows track a bit wider) 4️⃣ Wide grip pulldown (usually pronated) Primary emphasis • Upper back involvement goes up: rhomboids, mid traps, rear delts • Lats still work hard, but you often get less elbow flexion range, so biceps help less Also hits • Teres major • Lower traps (depressing the scapula) Serious about changing your body this year?
