im confused, if steve returned to the past to return the stones and does not return to the future by machine but grows old and goes to the location after being send to the past... he aged and had a live with peggy carter.... he stayed in the same timeline and ends up back. sooo. if he went back in time and killed thanos in that timeline.....does that not make his return something that never happend?

technically back to the future was actually correct in the terms of the context of this.... the reality that Marty and Doc left from in the first film was not the same.. his family went from somewhat pushovers to his dad being a baller because he punched his Biff. albeit it was fairly similar with minor changes, it was still not "the same"

For those who don’t understand, changing the past will just create another timeline where thanos was killed before he became adult and the actual present won’t be changed; and without thanos they won’t have a reason to came back in the time and they would just disapear
