1. If you have hear the name of a place it doesn’t mean you know there 2. Before Abraham could make a move God didn’t disclose any geographical location to him. 3. It was when Abraham got to Canaan before God told him this is the land I promised. So Abraham move from his father’s house without knowing a specific geographical location. Genesis 12:6-7

the bible doesn't tell us he left immediately or God told him to leave immediately. what's in the bible is ambiguous because he might have been shown the destination before he left or left before being shown the destination. that's why Avram has a point
