this idea works if you are a backpacker with 1 carryon and a bag. if you travel with 1 big bag + carryon it is possible but super unconfortable.

Am i missing something. They have those airport transfers counter at the luggage pickup area and the cars are all parked just outside the door. Sure it aint cheap, but its not eye gouging eithr and its fast because they take the paid expressways.

It cost around £12 to get to sukhumvit 8 for 3 people.. with luggage and it takes about 55 minutes.. in a Air conditioned car in traffic… i go 3 times a year to bankok 🙏

The airport link just gets you to a part of Bangkok where you can transfer to their regular commuter rail. Either the mrt or bts. Those are definitely not luggage friendly. Lots of walking, lots of stairs, can get very crowded. It is of course also very warm and you'll be uncomfortable with a single bag let alone the 2-3 most travel with.

The air rail link, BTS and MRT are so intuitive and simple to use. NOTHING like moving around NYC on the subway and dealing with Penn and Grand Central for the regional trains (the unbelievable mad rush to get on a NJ Transit train when the platform is finally announced 🤪). I love Bangkok!!!!

I’m not sure if you’re gonna see this but I want to thank you so much. I had an 18 hour layover at Bangkok and ChatGPT suggested to go to Terminal 21. Your video helped me so much because I really needed a visual and I was traveling alone. I’m so glad I managed to leave the airport without a problem because I couldn’t kill 18 hours at Suvarnabhumi. Thank you 🙏
