As for me once I receive smtng from others my first thought will be “how do I repay them” or “what shud I give them as a repayment” coz eversince I was a kid nothing is free we either have to achieve something first just then we’ll be rewarded or we’ll need to work hard to repay what we receive. So I seldomly ask for gift nor feel gratitude receiving one. I wanted so bad to feel celebrated but feel bad once they did. I feel like I’m being a burden and i’ll be in debt towards them 😌

Hindi ako marunong magregalo. 🥲 Usually nagtataka ako kapag Christmas sa office nagbibigayan mga officemates ko ng gift, or kapag umalis sila may mga pasalubong sa isat isa. Minsan damay ako. Nahihiya ako kasi wala akong naprepare for them. Kasi di naman ako nasanay at lumaki na nagbibigay at nakakatanggap ng regalo. Kaya parang ang weird sakin kapag nadadamay sa bigayan. Hindi ko alam pano ako gaganti or babawi if need ko ba magbigay. 😭🥺

As someone who didn’t receive much during childhood, I don’t know how to accept gifts with gratitude on my face. I’m not sure how to react because I’ve never really received any before.

I gre up with nothing in the province we just eat banana sweet potato, casava, rice and I put some salt with water then now I I learned to value even small things if someone give me a gifts i really appreciate it and I'm really emotional person I'm easy to cry 🥲
