I was in Japan before Covid, I am here now and everything feels very different, I feel ashamed to be a tourist as I have seen how many tourist’s act, that aside I will always love it here and will be my favourite country to spend my time off

Hello! I’m trying to get money to get onto classes for learing Japanesse since my english is not really good and i want to go live with my sister. She told me the same experience, its normal to feel off when there are so many Pepole not from your country on your own country. Japan sure must do something for tourists, goodluck 💓

I visited for 3 weeks in November/ Dec. I would hate to live in a city with tourists. It was busy in trains, streets, shops and was less enjoyable. I understand why the ruling was made to prevent foreign cemeteries there. Keep Japan Japanese. The tourists come then go, and spend money. It’s bad and good.

Tokyo has been a tourist hotspot for decades. all you have to do is walk 5 minutes from the fire of Shibuya and you won't see another tourist. it's that simple. even iconic photo spots like ochanomizu has almost no tourists at Golden hour, it's really just Shibuya and Harajuku that are bad
