@monstrofarm: This Anthurium has been with me for a couple months and since the day I got her on discount, the poor thing has been struggling. She started to put out some new growth and then got loose in the pot and has fallen over, but she continues to have the will to survive. This is how I rescue her: 1. Create a well-draining mix with components similar to what I would use for a larger Anthurium, but I decided to go with smaller particle sizes since the roots are still pretty fine. 2. Then I removed as much of the existing soil as I could to prepare it for the new pot, and sprayed the roots with hydrogen peroxide to prevent the continuation of root rot which she obviously had. 3. I grabbed a 4 inch pot, added a little soil to the bottom, centered the plant in the middle and continued to add soil all around. Making sure to compress the soil to keep the tall plant from falling over. The key to this is to not bury the plant too deep, so I used a brush to remove any soil covering the crown of the plant. 4. Then I watered the plant to prevent the freshly potted roots from drying out and in the future will water when the soil is about 50% dry. 5. It will need high indirect light to get to growing, so I put it under my growlights. Follow for updates. #houseplants #plants #monstrofarm
