@chestermtam: Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who already knows how energy costs got so high. A video has been circulating of a woman who shared her electric bill, and it says everything people need to know. She used 1,880 kilowatt hours of electricity. The actual cost of the electricity was $291. The delivery charges alone were $397. The fees to deliver the power cost more than the power itself. This is what happens when energy policy is driven by ideology instead of common sense. Families are increasingly pressured toward all electric living, affordable options are taken off the table, and people are buried under state mandates and so-called green fees built into their energy bills. People are asking if there is anything they can do or if anyone can help. They should not have to ask. This problem was created by government policy. Electing a Republican governor gets us one step closer to rolling back state-mandated policies and surcharges in our energy bills and putting ratepayers first again.
