fascinating to me how you treat consistency and loyalty as synonymous. I'll have to think about that! My husband is fiercely loyal but is inconsistent. And your mom not requiring your dad to consistently check in, but knew he was loyal. 🤔

@Kristin Wade: You don’t owe anyone an explanation but yes I just wanted consistency I was on the apps and saw it all and my husband (coming up on three years) understood early on I also think it stemmed from my ex husband being married for 15 years to an alcoholic that chaos and inconsistency was problematic for me and that was something that carried into my dating life post divorce
