Going though this awful disease at the moment with my grandad (more like my dad) and it’s progressed so so fast. He knew who we all were one moment, then kept asking where we are or when we are coming back if we went out and now he has no idea who we are. He’s in hospital currently and we’ve just been told that he can’t come home and needs to go to a nursing home. If I had one wish in my life, it would be that we could cure Alzheimer’s. I truly sympathise with how tough it can be some days. Gary had an amazing support system and is extremely lucky to have you all ❤️

My Dad got Alzheimer in his last 5 years... at the silent beginning years before anyone could see it was a soft learning to step in his shoes. it was for us that it slowing down our days, seeing the world like a child again. he loved music, thunderstorms, dancing, clouds, animals, flowers, people watching, laughin, the alps, generel doing sport .... he became in the years with Alzheimer more softness ... I wish U many peacefull, lovely, hearttouching days with your love ... and don't forget on hard days, that 5 minutes later all change in wink of a second and he and U smile again. I wish U from the bottom of my heart, that the bound between U grows and stay. ✨️🍀✨️... big hugh from Vienna.

So sorry for your family , lost my dad to vascular dementia in 2024 10yrs after his diagnosis at 65 we felt that was young to be diagnosed he was so fit and healthy 😩 I’m 55 just now and to see your husband be diagnosed so very young it’s heartbreaking but it’s also important we remember it’s not an old age disease, thankyou for sharing awareness and I send much love your way 🥰💜💜
