@cactustherescue: I once again couldn’t find Cactus. I did the usual walk around the house, checked every room, and then went into the bathroom. And there he was, sitting in the shower. Being a rescue, he’s just more sensitive some weeks than others. Some days he’s totally fine and not really bothered by much, and other times little things feel really big to him. All of the rain lately definitely hasn’t helped. Sometimes he doesn’t seem affected at all, and other times he acts like this. It really just depends. I just try to do my best to make him comfortable. In this case, that meant gently getting him out of the shower and onto his bed. Once he was there, he settled pretty quickly and it clearly helped.
