i had a teacher like this and EVERYONE (small school) came to her about everything and I felt so bad because she always seemed a little stressed. I would only go to her when I really really needed advice and only if i could tell she was having an easy slow day. I miss her and i hope you know how much you mean to these kids.

I feel so bad for my high school counselor. She wasn't supposed to do anything like therapy, but our school therapist was completely booked and I couldn't afford therapy on my own. She saw me every week for the remainder of my senior year. I wouldn't have survived without her. I hope she's doing well.

I had a teacher like this. Then I got called to the counsellors office and the “trusted adult” was there and admitted to telling them everything … trust gone

My coworkers tell me I need to care just a little less cause I literally lose sleep worrying about my kids sometimes. But like… those are my babies! Their faces light up when they see me! Mine does too!
