Using the wrong utensils If it’s served with cutlery, it’s not meant to be eaten with your hands and vice versa. 3. Eating before everyone is served Unless the host says “start”, wait - it shows much more respect. 4. Asking for lots of ketchup / sauce / seasoning It can come across like you don’t like the food (especially at someone’s home). 5. Tooth picking / hygiene at the table Always excuse yourself and do it in the bathroom.
