@mrcrobinson6: 2005 Advert for Sony Bravia Bouncy Balls featured 250,000 real, brightly colored bouncy balls bouncing down the steep streets of San Francisco to showcase the TV's vibrant color capabilities. To stand out against the growing use of CGI at the time, Sony and ad agency Fallon London decided to use real physical effects. The production involved closing off streets for four days and using 16 cameras to film the descent of the quarter of a million bouncy balls without the use of CGI. The visual spectacle was set to a melodic acoustic cover of the song "Heartbeats" by Swedish artist José González. I had to change sound due to copyright. #adverts #sony #JoséGonzález #Heartbeats #SanFrancisco #nostalgia #bouncyballs
