I think so many people think “cheap” and it’s automatically bad. A quick google of the sausages, it states they’re British pork, made in the UK. The standards for meat to be able to be sold to the public DOES NOT CHANGE just because the product is a “savers” item. The ingredients are different for this range over the more expensive range, but that’s the only difference. Not everyone can afford £3+ for “top of the range” meat products. Let’s be less judgemental about the food because god forbid half of you end up needing the savers range to survive!

People slagging the sausages should do their research. These sausages have 51% pork content. Richmond sausages are 42% pork content. These branded items are not always better.

I love that these always have fresh ingredients and something that makes it a “nice” meal like the basil or addition of garlic bread. Cheap but not minimal!

Probably healthier your way, but for an even cheaper/lazier option you can get the “creamy tomato pasta bake sauce” from Asda for 69p, my kids love it! Works out £3.15 for the sausage, pasta, sauce & garlic bread 😊
