purchased 2021 Ascent November 2025 57k Miles from Jenkins Subaru Ocala. Feb. 64k miles complete motor replacement. 8 weeks to repair. cost $15k May replace battery and alternator $1200. July 68k miles Jenkins said transmission needed replacement $9500. three and a half weeks for repairs. I talked to three other Ascent owners and two of them had to replace their engine and transmission. Subarus are no longer the reliable vehicles they say they are. they are money pits.
