I've never been to the parks with anyone who wanted to meet the characters with me. I'm 43 now, and my first trip back to the parks I intend to spend a couple of days just meeting ALL the characters in ALL the parks. I will bawl for the majority, I already know it.

I cried my eyes out when I met Paige O’Hara (voice of Belle) back in 2018, she just hugged me and spoke kind words. I get this and I sympathize with those feelings! Disney brings out the child heart in all of us.

I met Queen Anna on my honeymoon, she immediately asked to see my wedding ring😭 we didn’t have anything on saying we were there for our honeymoon. I lost it. 😂 sadly I don’t have a pic of us showing off our rings.

my first trip was in 2021, I turned 39 that week. I couldn't meet characters til our next trip in 2024. hugging the characters healed something in me. Pooh gives the best hugs.

My sister always wanted to go to Disney, but my parents could never afford to take her as a child so once she started working she saved up her own money and for her 21st birthday booked her first trip to disney world. when she saw Cinderella Castle for the first time, she actually cried because even though she was an adult by then, that childhood dream of going to Disney had finally come true. People who grew up going to Disney don’t always realize that not everyone had that experience. For a lot of families, especially those who don’t live near Florida a trip to Disney World is incredibly expensive and just not possible. So maybe we should stop calling “Disney adults” weird and recognize that for some of them, it’s simply a childhood dream they’re finally getting to experience and that can be very emotional. ✨
