So question…. I bought my large suitcase at TJMaxx 3 or so years ago. My last trip to Mexico united airlines busted off one of my wheels , couldn’t even roll it to get to vehicle when I arrived. They refused to take note at the airport and I was told to call united. Mind you I was speaking to united airline rep. But I had to beg every tooth and nail to be able to purchase another one even sent them the receipt. They stated that I would have to turn in a claim and they would handle it. Mind you I am in another country. They finally gave me a web site to purchase another suitcase but it all had to go to my Ohio home. Back from my vacation and still nothing. I was only aloud to purchase their replacements

I guess I asking is this normal procedure that the airline will leave you empty handed to be able to pack all my things in carryon instead of the one they broke? I did this Jan 25. Here it is feb 14 and nothing is processing from them to receive my replacement here in the USA
