@apneareset: The 4 most common CPAP side effects — and how to actually fix them. (Tap @apneareset to get your clear, personalized path to better sleep) CPAP works — but only if you handle the side effects correctly. Here’s what’s really going on, and what to do next. 1️⃣ Dry mouth If your mouth falls open, pressurized air dries everything out. Nasal breathing keeps moisture where it belongs. That’s why gentle nasal training — and safe mouth taping guidance — matters. 2️⃣ Air in the stomach Too much pressure can push air into your GI tract. That’s not dangerous — but it’s uncomfortable. Your provider may need to fine-tune your pressure settings. 3️⃣ “CPAP face” irritation Most masks are strapped way too tight. Pressure plus friction equals inflammation. Loosening fit, improving skin care, and reducing facial tension helps fast. 4️⃣ Still tired in the morning Breathing is only one part of sleep quality. Light exposure, screens, and stress can still fragment sleep. And sometimes breathing still isn’t fully optimized yet. These fixes help — but they’re just the starting point. Quick tips reduce symptoms. Personalized breathing and sleep strategies fix the root cause. Tap @apneareset to get your clear, personalized path to better sleep

I’ve had my machine for 4 weeks I’m on my 4th mask. I cannot use it once I nod off. Every set of head gear sets off my occipital neuralgia. I’ll have 5-6 days of pain behind 30 minutes with it. I’m lost as to what I can do.
