I have the best fakeaway for anyone who’s on a weight loss journey and wants some banging food this weekend 😮‍💨 These chicken smash burgers have all the flavours of fast food fav. Creamy burger sauce, melted cheese, gherkins and onion but they’re lighter, higher in protein and made at home 😍 These are exactly the kind of recipes that keep me on track on my weight loss journey without feeling like I’m missing out 🤌🏼 Ingredients (serves 2):  300g 5% fat chicken mince  1 tsp garlic granules  1 tsp onion granules  Salt  Black pepper  2 brioche buns 
2 light cheese slices  ¼ small white onion finely diced  1 gherkin sliced
 Burger sauce:
60g lighter mayo  1 tsp reduced sugar ketchup  ½ tsp yellow mustard  1 gherkin finely diced  1 tsp gherkin juice 
 💕Season the chicken mince with garlic granules, onion granules, salt and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into 4 loose balls. 💕Heat a large non-stick frying pan over a medium to high heat and lightly spray with oil.  💕Using damp hands, squash each ball down into the palm of your hand and mould into a circular shape. Immediately transfer to the pan. 

💕Cook for 3-4 minutes without moving them, until crisp and golden underneath. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until cooked through. 💕Turn down the heat, before placing a cheese slice on two of the patties then stack one plain patty on top. Cover with a lid and leave to melt for a couple of minutes.  💕While the patties cook, mix all the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl until smooth and tangy. 💕Lightly toast the burger buns.  💕Spread half the burger sauce over both halves, then layer with shredded lettuce, chicken patties, remaining burger sauce, diced onion and gherkin slices.   💕Finish with the top bun and serve immediately.
