why is everyone in the comments acting like you can’t party AND have a healthy/fit lifestyle. I workout 5-6x a week, super active, eat clean and I love going to raves, bars, parties etc. they’re not mutually exclusive

I mean I get up early and go to Pilates and sit and do my puzzles… and then have a nap and go get messy at the club. It’s about balance 😂

I think it’s an interesting concept to call it a trend or a “wave” that people in their twenties are trying to live fit and sober lifestyles as if there haven’t been people doing that for decades. There will always be the fitness and health people and there will always be the partying and clubbing people. Theres nothing wrong with either side or a mix of both. Especially in today’s economy, it’s understandable that people want to try to get ahead early; save their money, stay sober, learn, take care of their body for their future selves. But sure call them “grandma” young adults..

Also you can go to alcohol events without drinking just for the experience because it’s nice not to be in bed for 10 sometimes

I think ppl should just live how they want to and allow others to do the same without judgement

I never had a party phase either. I’m almost 40 now and don’t really feel like I missed anything. I’m all in on the grandma hobbies, though.

can we please just normalize that it doesn’t have to be one lifestyle or the other… please people just start living the life that feels best for you and dont pressure yourselves into either side

Being extremely fit as we age is actually a.. huge perk. And life doesn’t end in your 30s..

Or how about I just don’t like to drink, stay up late, or go to places like bars and clubs? I don’t like the way alcohol makes me feel, that’s not going to change once I hit 30. I had my fun from 18-21, then I was done, and been going to bed at 7:30 ever since

I keep seeing the "yall are missing the point" comments and if the point of the video isn't what the text says, then maybe it's just not explained very well? Like what else would this mean

You are not wasting your 20s by doing things you enjoy and that you feel comfortable doing! I think we as a society should stop putting an age limit on when people should have fun vs when people should be serious
