This isn’t correct, you got to the 71 inches correctly, then it’s +/- 2 inches from there! So anywhere from 5’9 to 6’1 would be his growth potential! Congratulations on your baby!!

It’s an estimate….. both my parents short as hell I’m 6’0 my brothers are 6,4. My husband is 6’2 the rest of his family is 5’7 and under ( parents and siblings ) I’m 6’0 my husbands 6’2 you’re telling me our sons projected to be almost 7 feet and our daughter only 5’8???

I think the +/- 6 inches for a boy/girl is inaccurate. It’s probably +/- 2 maybe 3 MAX.

The + and - 6 is to the moms height before the dividing, not after! It’d be 76+67=143 and 143/2=71.5 so plus or minus 2” in either direction. That’d put him at 69.5-73.5” or 5’9.5”-6’1.5”
