Wouldn’t “This movie” example be 이/가 since you are talking about a particular movie and emphasizing that it was fun versus a general statement like “Movies are fun”? Also question on new information, if someone doesn’t know who I am or how old I am, isn’t that providing new information and shouldn’t that be 이/가 as well from how it was explained? Really trying to understand the difference and when to use the particles.

I have one question still idk why, like you said we use 이/가 for emphasis so in the kimchi example if i wanted to tell a fact or general statement rather emphasis like “yeah the kimchi here is good” so can we use 은/는 in this case as well? I mean it depends right person to person and what they are perceiving about?
