First cause is not related to time it’s a byproduct of it. Without time there is no sequence between cause-and-effect therefore, because time is not there to order the sequence of events, there can be no cause-and-effect before time. Also, in my argument, my intention wasn’t to prove that a God couldn’t be the cause of the universe but that there was no need for God to be the cause of the universe because there was no such thing as cause. In the Big Bang, didn’t come from nowhere matter can’t be created or destroyed in the Big Bang was just matter at an infinitely dense point expanding. Also you can’t really prove that there’s a such thing as nothing because even outside of our universe and inside there are quantum fields everywhere and inside of a quantum field there can be quantum fluctuations.
