I was just diagnosed with type one beginning of December and since than every night I’ve been having low sugar in the middle of the night and getting the energy to get up to get some sugar is the hardest thing

Sometimes I forget that not everyone feels the same way not being a type 1. I’ve never known life without being type 1 so it’s hard for me to think “oh you don’t feel tired ALL of the time EVERY day?”

I’m crying. My son moved out recently. I have his Dexcom on my phone. When he is low I am a crazy person. Thankfully he has an amazing girlfriend who helps him. She is an absolute godsend 💙. Really helps, but I still worry and watch his number until it’s normal

I hate having Type 1 diabetes. Sometimes I get scared of eating cause it will spike my sugar. But when I don't eat, it drops and I have to eat something even at 2 or 3 am 😔
