Omg this is exactly what my husband said to me in front of my son oh my heart was broken my kid heard it all he practically suggested my kid move out by himself while he’s still in high school and my kid has high functioning autism this is exactly how my marriage ended.

My wife and I are on the same page as you. The children come FIRST. We know they are the priority and I love that her priority is my (our) kids. I also know I rank 7th.. 2 Kids first, then the 2 dogs, 2 cats, then me. As it should be. Take care of that boy.

I think you should be honest with your son so he can mentally prepare not wait to tell him right before he leaves. It will feel more shocking. Coming from someone who had parents divorce while I was a kid. But you seem like a great mom and knows what is best. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I was with my ex just shy of 10 years. We had problems for quite a while and I guess I stayed for my daughter until I realized it wasn’t good for her. I caught him on dating sites a few years before we broke up and I never really did forgive him for that. When I kicked him out, I wanted him out as soon as possible and he was trying to stay longer, but I think it ended up being a little over a month and even that was way too much. Looking back, I was so weak and I kept going back-and-forth on whether to stay with him. One minute I would feel completely fine and the next I would feel like I was making a mistake. I am so glad that I never went back with him though because I’ve actually met somebody who treats me the way I should be treated and loves me unconditionally. You are doing the right thing, men like that will never change. Your son will thank you for that in the future when he gets older just like I know my daughter will too.
