Got to do the infertility things while I was in the tenure process. What fun! My twin girls were a pretty amazing reward but the medical process made tenure look easy. Ugh. I feel for you.

Calculus II is the single hardest class I’ve ever taken, it narrowly beats senior level electricity and magnetism. Though functionally they were about equally difficult for me. Also, grad school applications, especially in the States, are so stressful 😭

just wrote my first CV for a graduate school preparation program I’m hoping to be admitted to, and I totally feel this. I was very worried that I wasn’t qualified to get into grad school, but then I wrote down all of my experiences that have prepared—and are continuing to prepare—me to do research, as well as the skills I was able to develop from those experiences and my professional roles. I’ve done a lot in just a year and a half. It’s great to see, and it makes me feel much more confident about applying in the fall!
