definitely would recommend checking out native fruiting species as well, theres tons of under utilized options that outperform traditional fruit selections. Namely pawpaws, maypops, american persimmons and others

I went cherry picking in New Mexico once and omg…I’d LOVE my own cherry tree!! The owner also made fresh cherry slushys and that was the BEST cherry slush I’ve ever had!

i grew up on my grandpas small orchard and i miss it so much since he passed and my dad dug them up 🥺 i plan to do this when i finally have a house in the country with land ❤

This is so awesome! Used to have a lot of fruit trees on my grandpas property. Apples, pears, peaches, and a small vineyard with grapes. Lots of great memories.
