Girl same. My mom is my best friend. We finished each other sentences, we look at each other and know what the other one is thinking. I don’t know what I will do without my mom and I fear losing her all the time.

My mom passed, 4 months after finding out she had cancer. As someone who had ocd about this type of thing, I don’t know how I survived and or how I am still “living” it’s been 9 months and it still doesn’t feel real.

I’m in tears for you. I know this feeling all too well. I felt the same way before my mom passed, and I mean years and years before she passed and my sibling still joke that I’m attached at the umbilical cord, even after death. I had a big breakdown after she passed. I still grieve her. Honestly how you’re feeling right now is how I felt many many times before she passed, which made me appreciate her so much more every single day. I had the same thoughts because I worked in home healthcare at the time. I was terrified she wouldn’t remember me. I’m just grateful I was able to care for her in her last couple months. I think I was always so afraid of losing her, losing my best friend but when I actually lost her, I was sad but also grateful she was out of pain. These feelings come in waves at least for me, before and after she passed. Try and continue to look at the positives while you still have her, try your best to not overthink of the negative thoughts. Give your mom an extra big hug for all of us. 🫶🏼

My mom has kidney failure, and I'm only 17. I just feel like it'll happen, and I won't know what to do. I'm scared. She's getting a new kidney soon, but...it's always there.

Yesss! I do this all this time thinking about my mom. And I say all the time that no one else will understand bc they don’t love their mom like I love my mom. I just don’t know how I will ever live without her.

I did this. I would cry thinking of not having her around and always spent time with her. And 2019 it happened, we lost her and it hurt a lot. It took a lot for me to get over the hardest part. I’m doing better but days hit hard that I miss her all over again and breakdown

I 100% understand and agree. I’m on here looking for other people having this exact same issue. Let’s just pray for each other because this is really hard and I also work in nursing homes.
