I put an online request in this past Saturday at 12:47. They were in my home at 1:09. And I live in a gigantic apartment community lol

My maintenance takes over 2 months sometimes even 8 to fix shit and that’s with me checking once a week and after they close the orders without even coming in here 🤦♀️

This is one of things I hated about working in leasing. coming to me to complain about maintenance not getting done like I’m personally the one going to your unit to fix things. The most I can do is inform the team of your request but I cannot make them work faster 🙄 so glad I’m no longer working in leasing

I'm the manager that tenants talked to after they've gone through the three levels before me. I'm the end of the line. I'm not nice. I'm sick of it and I'm paid to keep things rolling and not to just coddle people. I love my job.

At my current place, maintenance shows up like a week or two after the request put in. Shows up when I'm at work when I specifically give them my schedule of when I'm available, and then shows up another week later. Let's just say that living with contaminated appliances and a pest infestation is frustrating. I have like two months left and I'm out of this place.

When taking maintenence requests, there are to kinds of people. One that will call 5 times because something smal, like one heating element on a stove top isn't working. And the once that out in a regular request without calling or notifying in any way that they have a like a big watter leak or that the heating stopped working 4 weeks ago and it's -25 c outside. No in-between.
