So why are we seeing higher yields and better overall soil quality with no till?

This was the most outlandish comparison I think I’ve ever heard.

Been no till since 1977. I think you better do some more research man

When you till you collapse the pores and therefore have less water and air infiltration.

Absolutely amazing someone can study this as much as he does and come up with such an outlandish conclusion! We’ve been 100% no till for 20 years and more and can’t hardly keep residue on the soil anymore because our soil biology is so good!

So microbes and earth worms do nothing to incorporate residue?

If this is true, how did the prairies in the midwest get worked up before humans? Residue gets broken down by microbes and microbes organisms. When have you ever seen ground naturally worked up or plowed under, without human intervention?

well it looks like we all going to need to spend $100k for tillage tools. now add unwanted hrs on tractor and so on. more expensive.

What kind of no till is this guy doing . This is the same debate at fendt and Deere it whatever works for your operation!

tillage vs no till is the same as the red vs green debate. do whatever you think is best for your operation.

24 years of no till have worked really well for me.🤷‍♂️I’m not against tillage if it’s truly needed, luckily where I’m at that doesn’t happen very often.

How did prairie keep building organic matter? How was it all lost? Oh ya tillage.

hey buddy tillage don't work everywhere if we ran tillage on every acre every year we would be broke

If we till up our ground we won't have any top soil left because of the wind and the rain.

But here’s the thing, lower the cost of diesel prices and maintenance costs. Then maybe will come back to traditional tilling.
