This is what day 4 post-op from full leg loose skin removal looks like for me! ☺️ The day before this was a big turning point. I was finally able to get in and out of bed, the car, and the couch completely on my own. The first couple of days, I definitely needed help with all of that. I actually got a little “ready” this day… which just means taking out my 4-day-old hair, throwing it back up and putting in contacts instead of wearing my glasses. 😅 I also started feeling itchy (which is actually a good sign since it means healing is happening 🙌). Swelling, though… still very much at full capacity in my legs and feet on this day. I get lots of rest but it’s also important to get in movement too. Every two hours or so, I make sure to get up and walk around the house a little. My nurse was with me the first two days and then my mom took over! ☺️ Here’s what I had / took throughout this video: • 3 eggs on sourdough bread • Apple with peanut butter • Water + electrolytes (used Re-Lyte this time) • Prescribed hydrocodone (for pain) • Prescribed antibiotic (to prevent infections) • Lovenox injection (to help prevent blood clots) • Benadryl (for itchiness) I wanted to show as much of the day as possible, so this is Part 1 — Part 2 will be up tonight with lunch, dinner, and my first post-op shower! 💜 #looseskinremoval #postoprecovery #looseskinsurgery *All surgeries come with risks and everyone has to decide what the best decision for them is
