It’s so hard loosing the father of your child. Although I left him before he passed because he couldn’t stay sober. I had soo much hope that he’d find his way and we’d be a family. Sadly he passed away 3 yrs after we split and my daughter glorifyies him bc she didn’t see or understand the disease. As she’s getting older I try to explain and then I stop bc I’d rather her remember him the way she saw him! My heart still hurts and grieves for our family🙏🩷

Wow that is crazy!! Sunday is my son’s father DOD, he fathered my 19 yr old twin boys - he died when they were 10. Wonderwall was his song. His name was JP aka Justin. He was an animal too.

I am so sorry you’re loss, I also lost my brother to addiction, as well as my sister to suicide. For a long time I would remember how and what happened the day they died. I also try to remember them in a more positive way , it’s hard sometimes because people judge or even have got mad about my positivity, about that. And I had to learn people deal with it in different ways. I choose to live and think of the good things and the love they had. Thank you for sharing that . I makes me upset when people can’t except my positivity, so thank you for this post, it helped me, feel good about feeling positive about them . Have a good day
