@enigmax1.0: 𝐊𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 POV: watching time turn into architecture The Konark Sun Temple was built in the 13th century as a monumental stone chariot dedicated to Surya, the Sun God. Its twelve massive wheels function as ancient sundials, while the seven horses symbolize the days of the week and the passage of time. Designed with astronomical precision, the temple once followed the movement of the sun, transforming light and shadow into a living calendar. Even in ruin, it remains one of the most extraordinary examples of how spirituality, science, and art were united in sacred architecture. If you look at it from above and flatten it, it’s a tone a vibration. Something made all at once. Not carved.
