you never know what you might encounter expecially during the holidays when most ppl are traveling. so yeah giving 2 hours is ideal but for a regular Tuesday you could get away with just an hour to 45

I don’t mind arriving to the airport early at all. Gives me time to get through TSA Pre-Check, window shop, get snacks or a meal, sit with my Kindle and relax before boarding. I despise the anxiety of rushing so I prefer to give myself the luxury of time.

You can do whatever you want. Show up 15 minutes before your flight. Good luck getting through security in time. Bump around the airport for a few minutes you’ll find somebody who missed their flight because they were late to the airport.

because unfortunately, with airlines, you don’t know if you’re gonna have to get through everything in 20 minutes or an hour and a half. Better to sit and wait then miss your flight.

it's all smooth sailing until your Uber takes you to the wrong terminal at an unfamiliar airport and you have to find a shuttle to take you down the freeway around the other side 🙄

Yep, and when you show up one day with the tsa line backed up 1.5 hours at rush hour you will be in a panic.

TSA. You never know how long it’ll take. So I always go early. What’s the worst that can happen? I have time to sit, relax, read (doom scroll) eat a bagel and even nap before boarding.
