Once it’s crystallized it’s trash unfortunately. Like someone else said see if your pharmacy will exchange it.

Call the manufacturer see if they can give you a coupon card for a free one. Tell them it’s faulty. Most of the time they’ll give you a free one. Ive worked in pharmacy for 8 years

My mom said not too if it freezes and she’s been diabetic since 7 and she’s 50 now, if mine did I wouldn’t either because it damages it and becomes less effective

pharm tech here, typically pharmacies wont switch it out since thats user error. youll have to call the manufacturer and see if they cant send you a new one

No once insulin gets frozen it loses it’s potency and ability to control your blood sugar. If you call your insurance and let them know the mishap they usually will approve you for another refill just depends on insurance tho

It won't work properly that's why it says to avoid heat and not to freeze it, like it won't harm you but it weakens the insulin..

I work in a pharmacy and most of them cannot replace or refund you for any product once it has left the pharmacy. the drug company can send you a coupon for a free one of if the product is faulty. This is just a phone call, who's to say if they follow up. But please don't bring it to the pharmacy

Freezing it messes up the proteins in it and it won’t work unfortunately.

as someone that works in the pharmacy, realistically, the pharmacy WILL not exchange the insulin that YOU accidentally froze. It’s not cheap.
