Hey everyone, I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to respond to everyone. I wish I could pin this comment. The vet finally called after he got out of surgery. The surgery took about five hours, and they were able to remove everything completely with no complications. They said it was a very tedious procedure, and due to the size, he will have some facial nerve damage. He won’t be able to blink that eye, so he’ll need eye drops for the rest of his life to keep it from drying out. He’s currently two hours away at an excellent veterinary facility and receiving the best care. We’re hoping to pick him up tomorrow if he’s ready. He was never in pain, just uncomfortable, and now he’s going to be so happy and relieved. I truly never thought surgery would be possible given how large it had become, but it was, and I am incredibly grateful. Thank you all so much for the love, prayers, and support. I can’t wait to show you how he looks now.
