I’m a gardener and it works so well for me! When I’m destructive I get to cut down a tree or dig a trench, when I’m building I get to propagate new plants!

I feel alone in the fact that in most the comments you have jobs, I literally can’t work, hardly wash, eat etc. I have adhd, autism, ptsd and bpd does anyone on here have stuff together like this that are still coping with life or got any tips?

Im a dog groomer…it’s chaos 24/7 and I get to run around my table grooming the dog and run around the shop chasing the dogs around. It’s amazing

A white paper a few years ago in the UK showed that a massive 52% of tradespeople have some form of neurodivergence. I love being a plumber, it gives me the perfect blend of variety/stimulation & routine that my AuDHD needs.

Not to be dramatic, but the switch from an office job to hospitality as I turned 29 saved my relationship and probably my life. It wasn’t easy to do though.

I have my own pet care business. I get to sit at home with dogs/cats every day. Very little human interaction. Never been happier in my life!

yes, literally this. Now if I only knew this years ago and got diagnosed and on meds, man my debt would not be as bad from chaos bad decision impulse buying from dopamine seeking,so accurate. It's a scavenger hunt

Recently just been diagnosed with ADHD- I don't know how many jobs I had in my 20s- can't put it on my CV as it looks crazy and the distruction mode was wild- now in a job that is different everyday and I'm now trying to heal from the damage I have done for years!

My partner has ADHD (I think I do too but I’m undiagnosed) and I really struggle with this. He can only be super involved with 1 thing at a time. If he pays attention to me and our relationship, he suffers in other areas. When he is really involved in a project, it’s like we are just room mates sometimes. How can I be more understanding of this and also help him? It sound selfish but I really struggle with the outpouring of love for a few days & then its the complete opposite. Very hot and cold.
