Is this why I’m sensitive to adhesives? I’ve always had an issue with silicone ear tips, earplugs, and watch straps, but I never thought this could be why I have such an issue with a lot of adhesiveS. I literally had to make a last-minute trip to Best Buy to get new Watch bands because my stretchy ones still haven’t been delivered, and I nearly scratched myself raw last night.

I can't wear contacts with silicone either. I've never noticed a problem with any other silicone products though.

I'm 33. I was getting my hair done and I was telling my hairdresser that the silicone nose piece on my glasses had to be changed because it was so itchy. She immediately told me that was the cause of my scalp being so itchy and irritated; it feels like it always has a sunburn too! I'm in the same boat as you, girl. I need to find products with zero silicone now! She used a UNITE product on me that didn't have any, but some still had silicone! Even my underwear, where your legs go in the elastic, itches me so badly. I looked it up... silicone! The back of my bra strap? Silicone! My arms and back had bumps and I never knew why; it was because of the shampoo running down my arms and back. I can't believe it! i just found this out too im be 34 ! lol
