We put our sausage, a can or two of sauerkraut, some brown sugar and a can of beer in the crock pot and let it cook on low 4-6 hours. Delicious!

If you cook a little bit of apple juice into the sauerkraut it knocks the tangy way down and you can hardly taste the apple juice. It makes it taste very good.

My mom heats our sauerkraut up and to take some of the tang out of it add a couple slices of apple.

Trust me as a polish person! Fry up the Sausage then add the sauerkraut into the pan and fry it up and throw ontop of the potatoes! its delicious. You are supposed to rinse and squeeze out the sauerkraut vinegar. i love your vieeos!!!!!!

We pan fry our sauerkraut in bacon fat. Gets nice and crispy and takes some of the bitterness out.

I literally just made potatoes in a can with some cheese and cream made them like au gratin potatoes pork steak and creamed peas. it's what I had in my cupboard and freezer
