This is a 5 minute city and China has made it so you can't go shopping anywhere without registering your face. They make you pay with your face and if you say something they don't like, even in private, they can and will freeze your assets even going so far as to ensure you can't get on a flight to go home. They call it the "karma" system. What do you think will happen if they do this and you live in one of these places?

I’ve been to this building several times. No chance 30,000 live there. True estimates are a fraction of that. There’s shops and restaurants on the first two floors but that’s true of a ton of apartment buildings. it’s really not that interesting of a building. Someone just posted about it once with hyperbole and it gets regurgitated ad nauseum.
