My Dad taught me to put a few seeds in a shot glass of water and leave them somewhere dark. My 4 recent plants sprouted quickly with long stems and this is them the morning after planting them and the day after 😭

Is it really worth germinating out of the substrate? I just grew my first plant and popped it straight in the substrate I’m about to start 3 more and was just curious.

I lost so many seeds due to the paper method i have 100% sucsess rate with puting em in water until root comes then plant never lost 1
