@thebookhook_podcast: Ever wonder how @Rebecca Yarros plots the Empyrean series? 🐉✍️ Her process: 1️⃣ Make a playlist: As she writes her current book, she builds the playlist for the next one. 2️⃣ Write scene cards: While listening to the music she jots down random scenes on index cards—just pure emotion and feeling, no order yet. 3️⃣ Color-code with Post-Its: Then she takes the stack of index cards and structures it all with color-coded notes so she can see where romance is missing, where action is missing, where pacing is off "My plotting process is weird," she says.
