Advance Higher History gives a lot of skills useful for work, particularly the ability to analyse and make sense of qualitative information. My Advance Highers (well, CSYS since I'm old) were maths and sciences and I sometimes think I should have done a social science as well for the more qualitative side since it's so important in most white collar jobs.

St Joseph’s Kilmarnock? In my 6th year I did SYS Maths, and then woodworking, cookery and Italian modules as I’d done enough to get into uni the previous year. That last year was the best as there was hardly any stress with studying etc.
