WI girl here - prep as you would for a hurricane! Fresh water, candles/flashlights, charge devices, prep coolers with food/water, etc. Try to have some fun games and activities planned. Snow > Ice

2 in, total? The difference compared to me in NH getting snow up to my car window. Not diminishing your panic, I just find it fascinating that something I think of as easy can be so much more threatening to someone not used to it

The well is what tripped us up last time. This storm I’m a little further south (Braselton) and on city water. But my grandbabies are in White County. 😳

My husband is in charge of one of the departments for NYC Subway System so all week it’s been meetings about weather plans. He says they may suspend train service which only happens in extreme weather. Stay warm and safe.

Stay safe!!! I was thinking of you when I was reading about it. I’m in Florida so I’m not part of it. I was supposed to be flying to Detroit but it’s not worth getting stuck there. I hope y’all don’t lose power 💗💗

We are in the middle of moving and I typically grocery shop on Mondays. It is a dang mess! I had to run out during lunch and stock up on stuff I forgot during my regular shopping!
