Rename file before ripping. Turn on expert mode in preference / general tab. Go back. Select title to rename on left side. On right side the new properties option with drop down menu. Select the file name option (the second option down) then rename.

Does this method work for TV show boxsets too? Like where multiple episodes are on one disc? It works the same I'd imagine?
